FAQ

Common questions

The things most people ask before the first call. If yours isn't here, just ask directly.

What does OneScale Solutions actually build?

Custom software and web platforms, AI agents and automation, mobile apps, and enterprise integrations. Most projects combine two or more of these — an AI support agent behind a customer portal, for example.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope, not hours billed. Every project starts with a discovery call and a written scope with a fixed price attached, so you know the cost before anything is signed. There's no hourly meter running in the background.

How long does a typical project take?

Small internal tools or AI agents can ship in 2–4 weeks. Full MVPs and mobile apps typically run 6–10 weeks. Enterprise integrations and larger platforms vary more depending on what they connect to — we give a real estimate after the discovery call, not a generic range.

Do you work with early-stage startups without a technical co-founder?

Yes — this is a common starting point for us. We help scope the product, make the technical decisions, and build it in a way your team (or a future in-house hire) can pick up later.

What happens after the project launches?

Every project includes a fixed support window after launch to fix anything that comes up. After that, most clients move to a monthly retainer for updates, new features, and ongoing maintenance — but there's no obligation to continue.

Do you sign NDAs and take on IP ownership terms?

Yes. We sign NDAs before detailed scoping conversations when asked, and clients own the code, designs, and IP for everything built for them once the engagement is paid in full.

Can you work with our existing codebase, or does it have to be a new build?

Both. We regularly pick up existing codebases for new features, integrations, or modernization work — we just run a short paid audit first so the scope and estimate are based on what's actually there, not a guess.

Do you handle integrations with tools we already use, like our CRM or accounting software?

Yes — integrations are one of our most common projects. We connect CRMs, ERPs, POS systems, payment gateways, WhatsApp and telephony, and accounting tools, and build custom middleware where no off-the-shelf connector exists.

Can you help with cybersecurity or compliance work, like SOC 2 or GDPR?

Yes. We run security audits, implement authentication and role-based access control, and put together the compliance documentation — audit logs, encryption, access policies — that auditors and enterprise clients ask for, including AI-specific risks like prompt injection.

We're a larger company rolling out AI across departments — do you work at that scale?

Yes. For enterprises, we run a structured AI transformation program — audit, prioritize, pilot, then scale — with the governance and change management larger rollouts need, rather than treating it as a single isolated pilot.
